Satel-Light is the most advanced daylight and solar radiation database for Europe. It is a unique source of information for daylight and solar energy related applications. It is based on 5 years of half hour data derived from the images of the Meteosat satellite. Thanks to the geographic continuity brought by satellite images, Satel-Light has the unique capability to produce maps showing the availability of daylight and solar radiation over Europe. Producing a complete report on the energy available at a specific site has never been so easy. You can choose one of the most populated centers, search through a geographic name database, click on a map, or provide latitude and longitude coordinates. Once you have selected your site, you choose the parameters and the statistics which are of interest to you: global, diffuse, direct illuminance or irradiance, on an horizontal or tilted plane, mean values, cumulated values, most frequent values... Satel-light produces all your information in only one step, in a few minutes. When the report has been produced by Satel-Light, you receive an email. This report presents your information using tables and graphs which can be easily pasted in a MS Word document.
