Founder and music educator Steve Alcalá founded the first high school Latin jazz ensemble in the country in the early 80’s. Once he established his high school Latin jazz ensemble he found there were no resources for authentic Latin jazz printed sheet music. He had to transcribe the Latin jazz music from his own personal playlist. After a 32-year career Steve developed a library of Latin jazz printed sheet music and started 3-2 Music Publishing.
