TED is an annual event where some of the world’s leading thinkers and doers are invited to share what they are most passionate about. We are TEDxRochester, where x = independently organized TED event. We have a proud history of being one of the inaugural TEDx events in the country. We embrace the TED mission of “Ideas Worth Spreading” and dedicate ourselves to highlighting the brilliance, passion and possibility that is Rochester. The TED Organization provides a license to us with general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are completely self-organized and community-funded.
