Welcome to Crawford Instruments. My name is Ian Crawford McWilliams. I am a Canadian living 80 km west of Berlin in the historical town of Brandenburg an der Havel. Through out this web site there is a selection of my work that I have done over an extended period of time. My energy is mostly focused at present on making modern violin, viola and cello but I still find time to wet my taste buds with the occasional viola da gamba which is always a great pleasure.
