Towards the end of 2011, a group of Hong Kong airline pilots came together and decided to form an organisation for raising the community awareness of the aviation industry in the Hong Kong SAR. The main focus is to introduce an educational package that can assist Hong Kong youth to secure their first professional aviation employment. Hong Kong Youth Aviation Academy or HKYAA was formed to carry this mission forward and the founding members of this organisation have all benefited tremendously from the opportunities offered by the Hong Kong aviation industry. They all share the same conviction to help the next generation begin their careers in this rewarding and expanding world of aviation.
