Sevalaya, a 28 years old organization, is a registered charitable trust, was founded in 1988. Inspired by the teachings of Mahakavi Bharathiyar, Mahatma Gandhi and Swami Vivekananda; the vision of Sevalaya is to work towards upliftment of poor, empowerment of women and care for the downtrodden. Sevalaya's school serves about 42 villages surrounding its centre.
