A licensed optician and seasoned retailer, Laxamana began selling luxury eyewear at Eyewear Generation in the heart of San Francisco in 1998. Eyewear Generation’s line of high end optical frames and sunglasses proved extremely successful. By the early 2000’s Laxamana noted an opportunity for introducing fashion conscious millennials to designer brands and quickly moved to create a welcoming retail environment.
