American Association for Emergency Psychiatry (AAEP) is a multidisciplinary organization that serves as the voice of emergency mental health. Members of AAEP are directors of psychiatric emergency services, psychiatrists, nurses, social workers, psychologists, physician assistants, educators and other professionals involved in emergency psychiatry. The AAEP sponsors educational programs and provides a network of experts to address clinical, educational, administrative, research and legal problems.
