Discordia is the Roman version of the Greek goddess Eris; there are no actual distinctive differences between one character or the other. Sources have stated that Discordianism in general is a difficult belief to describe because there is no actual dogma, or system of belief, other than a few statements about how humanity suffers from being entirely too serious about everything, and should basically lighten up.
