SMPTE® 2017 Annual Technical Conference & Exhibition, Oct. 24-26 in Hollywood: Renowned Media and Entertainment Technology Event Will Follow Daylong SMPTE 2017 Symposium Focusing on AI and Machine Learning in Digital Media Creation SMPTE, the organization whose standards work has supported a century of advances in entertainment technology, has opened registration for the SMPTE 2017 Annual Technical Conference & Exhibition (SMPTE 2017), Oct. 24-26 in Hollywood, California, as well as for the SMPTE 2017 Symposium preceding the conference on Oct. 23. Early bird rates are available now through Aug. 12. SMPTE’s Annual Technical Conference & Exhibition is the world’s premier forum for the exploration of media and entertainment technology. Taking place at the Hollywood & Highland Center, the event will fill two exhibit halls and multiple session rooms. SMPTE 2017 will also feature a beer garden, Broadcast Beat’s SMPTE 2017 Live! Yuma Kano, born in 1988 in Tochigi prefecture. Graduated from the department of design at Tokyo Zokei University. Founded studio yumakano after working as an assistant to artist Yasuhiro Suzuki. Based out of Kawasaki in what was once a shipyard in the mid-19th century, bringing the old environment to life through product design, product planning, brand direction, interior planning, artwork, and other projects. Aims to inspire a fun, creative world where everyone is able to find new possibilities by exploring unnoticed aspects of the everyday.
