Kunshan Sunlaite New Energy Technology Co., Ltd is a company devoted to develop new energy resources. The company was founded by Nanjing University(NJU). Taking advantage of talent resources from Eco-Materials & Renewable Energy Research Center.NJU, the Innovation &Technology Platform of NJU and Kunshan Solar Energy Efficient Application Center,the company is aimed to develop clean and renewable energy resources, especially the development, fabricating and marketing of novel functional materials and devices. The company has the intellectual property rights and key technology on several projects such as: Vertical wind turbine,solar cell of new generation, Proton exchange membrane fuel cell (PEMFC).

یکی از پژوهشگاه‌های مستقل و زیر نظر وزارت علوم، تحقیقات و فناوری ایران است. این پژوهشگاه از چهار پژوهشکده سرامیک، نیمه هادی‌ها، انرژی و پژوهشکده فناوری نانو و مواد پیشرفته تشکیل شده‌است كه در ۱۲ گروه تخصصی به فعالیت های تحقیقاتی در زمینه های مرتبط با مواد و انرژی می پردازند. اینك پژوهشگاه مواد و انرژی با پشتوانه بیش از ۴۰ سال تجربه تحقیقاتی و با برخورداری از تخصص های حدود ۷۶ نفر عضو هیات علمی، ۱۰۰ نفر كارشناس و تكنیسین پژوهشی و نیز تجهیزات پیشرفته و بعضاً منحصر به فرد در ایران، نقش مهمی در توسعه و بهبود كیفیت صنعت نوپای كشور بعهده دارد.
