McLane Teitelhttp://pageoverview.com/website-report/mclaneteitel-spacedchallenge.squarespace.com
Homepage Design by McLane Teitel Happy to have taken part in the #SPACEDchallege, hosted by @dannpetty. To view the Dribble shot of this project, click here. For my entry, I focused on the homepage and overall web experience of SPACED. Upon landing on the SPACED homepage, visitors would immediately be prompted with a trip search functionality, in which they can input their desired destination and dates of travel to receive available trip options and rates. I felt it was important, however, to make this site feel more experiential and interactive than a standard travel-booking website. So, users have the ability to hide the trip search and dive deeper into pages focused on each of SPACED's destinations (in this example, the moon). Each destination page would include a video, gallery, list of features, activities, and more, that the customer can expect from taking a trip to that destination. I've also included a loading page that emulates a launch countdown, a menu page in which typographic elements come in and out of focus, and a few example of what the SPACED website could look and feel like on mobile. Again, happy to have participated in this challenge, and looking forward to seeing everyone's submissions. To space and back, McLane
