The Illinois Prevention Research Center informs policy and environmental change with evidence to improve health behaviors and lower chronic disease risk, especially in the state’s most vulnerable communities. Funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the Illinois PRC is part of the Institute for Health Research and Policy at the University of Illinois at Chicago.

The Urban Coalition for HIV/AIDS Prevention Services (UCHAPS) is a national collaboration of community partners and health departments dedicated to preventing new HIV infections and reducing health disparities, morbidity, and mortality related to HIV and AIDS. 

The Best Babies Zone (BBZ) Initiative is an innovative, multi-sector approach to reducing infant mortality and racial disparities in birth outcomes and improving birth and health outcomes by mobilizing communities to address the social determinants that affect health.

The goal of the CBA Provider Network is to build the capacity of our nation's HIV prevention workforce, thereby reducing HIV infections and HIV-related morbidity, mortality, and health disparities across the United States and its territories.
