But the real question is, why did we come together to work on this project? Because we love what Asana has allowed us to do over the years, and we want to share how you can get the most out of it—right from the time you use it. One of the things we’ve heard about Asana on our websites and through various conversations we have online is that it can be too complex. For some, that will be true. The two of us wanted to create something that would help those who struggle with getting out of the gate with Asana as well as deliver tips, tricks, and tactics for more seasoned users so that they can get even more out of Asana. Do Better With Asana aims to dispel all of the myths that surround Asana, including the myth that Asana just isn’t designed for personal use. Asana is truly adaptable, and Do Better With Asana will demonstrate just how adaptable it is. Since this guide is delivered electronically, we have the ability to update it to make it more useful. This is key considering that Asana is in active development, with new features being added and other changes being made on an ongoing basis. We will say that we won’t be updating this guide every time an update is made because they happen very often (Asana iterate on the product in “episodes” lasting approximately four months with minor release generally throughout). This entire program was built using Asana and tools that integrate with Asana. Since we live in opposite regions of the globe, we used Slack for communication in real-time. Asana is linked to Slack so we can track our activity in our Do Better With Asana Workspace. We used Asana to manage this project from its first steps to the creation process and into the launch phase and beyond. We also leveraged Google Drive’s integration with Asana to share the text for each section of the book and grabbed research links using the Google Chrome Extension in order to get the links into Asana. Every conceivable aspect of the Do Better With Asana product began and ended in Asana. So if you’ve been looking to get more out of Asana–whether you have just added it to your productivity toolbox or have been using it for a lengthy period of time—this guide is going to be a valuable resource. As you view my images you’ll find out a lot about me. For instance, I see natural landscapes and the creatures that call them home as being at the same time grand works of art and also places for renewal, connection and education. It’s probably also apparent that I love to travel. The world is a big, beautiful and fascinating place, and my travel images aim to show it in all its glory. Photographing people and their cultures is one big reason I travel, and I hope my images tell you something about what makes all of us unique, along with all that we share. In short, despite all my photographs of nature and landscape, I am also a photographer of people, especially in those candid moments: with family or friends, with their pets, or simply alone. I’m very serious about photography as art, as a way to communicate what is more difficult (even impossible) to say with words. I don't tend to shoot popular subjects or incorporate trendy looks into my images. My influences from without are as numerous and varied as the whole world is. Influences from within include my past careers as an earth scientist and also a teacher. Both continue to inform my photography. For example my landscape images often highlight aspects of the region’s geologic history. My strong affinity for nature and animals of all kinds is a major influence as well. Global travel has given me a keen awareness of human impacts on the environment. We are forever connected after all - to the earth which gives us everything, and to each other. I am an avid blogger, and my newer images turn up there with interesting back-stories or in an educational context. Please click on the blog button to see what is current. I am exploring effects of ongoing climatic, economic and cultural changes taking place in the west as a whole. The journal 2008-2012 was published once at the end of December 2012 as an individual project of understanding the recent past of the class struggle; on this basis it openly called for a theoretical discussion addressing those with whom it shared the sense that something from this past was indeed eluding our attention. The present site is the continuation of this previous attempt, which, in the meantime, through the encounter with comrades that raised closely related questions, had acquired the characteristics of a space of discussion, of a milieu if you prefer. As co-administrators from the beginning of 2014 until the beginning of 2015, and as the only administrators from the beginning of 2015 until today of the blog communisation.espivblogs. net (which will remain active, though its content will be no longer renewed), we insist on the creation of a space of discussion around the currency and the content of communism and revolution· and definitely the relation of the proletariat with all these. Central to the creation of this desirable milieu is the theory of communisation, with all its tendencies and extensions, which, to our knowledge, is among the very few that continue to raise questions of this kind today. Undoubtlessly, the present crisis, together with the forms of class struggle that accompany it, don’t leave any space for the reaffirmation of the workers’ identity and the horizon of another society envisioned by the workers’ movement. In our view, it still an open question what the actual characteristics of a theory of revolution would be, that would not circumvent the issues of gender and race internal to the capitalist social formation, that, in other words, would elaborate anew on the relation between the state and civil society.
