Young people’s innovation is endless, as long as we encourage them to identify their passion rather than suppress it; an issue young people in Syria are facing. Heavy focus on the academic content ignoring young people’s need to explore their passion and creativeness is limiting their ability to come up and develop ideas, of which might be the solution to a better world. ChangeMakers was launched in 2016 by a group of motivated young people based in Damascus, Syria with the aim of stimulating youth’s innovation through coding and business skills. Last year, ChangeMakers has supported 20 youth to find their passion and take the first step in the programming world
