Interstellar Exploration is a series of photographs taken over the course of two weeks while traversing a mountainous, uncharted planet characterized by its breathtaking views and unnatural purple hues. The photos were all shot on Lomochrome Purple, a film stock inspired by, the now obsolete, infrared Kodak Aerochrome. Aerochrome was most famously used by Richard Mosse to document war in Eastern Congo. Although the effect is slightly different, Lomochrome Purple does an exceptional job turning the vast palette of greens and yellows in Iceland to otherworldly pinks and purples.
