Most freelancers and business owners make estimates on a daily basis. Clients are always interested in ballpark figures, and they want them as soon as possible. Free Estimapp apps are built in a form of quiz. A sales person can take it to a meeting. A freelancer can produce a quick estimate on-the-go and share it with the client or a business partner. The app is using one of the modern and fast-growing frameworks, React.js rival, called Ionic. This tool allows for building iOS/Android and desktop apps using the same code base. As a result, the notion of supporting multiple platforms at the launch became the primary design challenge for me. I had to test the layouts and the proposed UX/UI solutions for several media: mobile, tablet, and desktop. Designed as if this app was a responsive website, but bearing in mind the restrictions that arose naturally from Ionic. The client shared that the range of Estimapp apps brought a range of plausible leads and in several cases converted into the closed deals. A very solid ROI in his case.
