「粵劇新秀演出系列」以油麻地戲院為新秀搖籃，全方位培育粵劇界台前幕後接班人。計劃得到五位粵劇界名伶(阮兆輝、羅家英、尹飛燕、新劍郎、龍貫天)的支持，擔任藝術總監，連同客席藝術總監李奇峰，執手指導過百位新秀演員，把粵劇這門博大精深的藝術傳授予新一代。透過每年過百場的粵劇演出、導賞講座、學生專場及多項推廣活動，向觀眾展示香港粵劇新秀演員的實力，讓年輕觀眾欣賞這項傳統中國藝術的真善美，將這項非物質文化遺產發揚光大。
