The AIMS Center for Math and Science Education located on the campus of Fresno Pacific University is dedicated to understanding the existing research on how children “come to know” their mathematical and scientific knowledge; to use what we learn from research to inspire teachers to deeply ponder how to change their own classroom practice – passionate, reflective teachers who will take their students’ thinking seriously; and to broadly share that which is learned with the educational community.
