Sports are a part of the landscape in Indiana. We are home to the largest sporting event in the world. We have hosted more than 400 Collegiate and Olympic National and International Championships. We are home to the NCAA, USA Gymnastics, USA Track & Field, USA Diving, and dozens more governing bodies. But our sports tradition runs much deeper than these global events Sports Indiana is a private, membership, not-for-profit organization comprised of allied sports and tourism representatives throughout the state of Indiana. Its mission is to promote sports tourism and positive economic development statewide through a variety of sports and sporting events. Sports Indiana is a state-wide membership organization. Partial funding is provided by the Indiana Office of Tourism Development in partnership with Indiana Sports Corp.
