The Global Methane Initiative is an international partnership that advances cost-effective, near-term methane recovery and use as a clean energy source. The goal of the Partnership is to reduce global methane emissions in order to enhance economic growth, strengthen energy security, improve air quality, improve industrial safety, and reduce emissions of greenhouse gases.

Australia Awards in Indonesia is the largest and longest running scholarships program offered by the Australian Government to any partner country. Since the 1950s Australian Government scholarships have built people-to-people links and have contributed to human resource development in Indonesia. Over the past decade nearly 5000 Indonesians have received an Australia Award Scholarship. In 2014, 525 scholarships were awarded to assist public (government) and open (non-government) sector individuals to meet Indonesia’s development goals. Australia Awards Scholarships are provided for study and research in fields that support Indonesia’s development needs and DFAT’s priority development areas.

The Incentive Fund provides grants to high-performing organisations to improve service delivery and provide economic opportunities for the people of Papua New Guinea. It is funded by the Australian Government.
