Zim&Zou are two french artists, based in Nancy. The duo is composed of Lucie THOMAS, born in the Vosges in 1987, and Thibault ZIMMERMANN, born in Paris in 1986. They studied graphic design (design, publishing, advertising) during three years. The duo decided to focus on installations using handcrafted objects made out of tangible materials such as paper, wood, thread, etc... rolling away from computer design. Early bird rates are available now through Aug. 12. SMPTE’s Annual Technical Conference & Exhibition is the world’s premier forum for the exploration of media and entertainment technology. Taking place at the Hollywood & Highland Center, the event will fill two exhibit halls and multiple session rooms. SMPTE 2017 will also feature a beer garden, Broadcast Beat’s SMPTE 2017 Live! Rolland Luke Dingman has been an artist all of his life! He has won many awards and recognition for his Byzantine Iconography, impressionist-style landscapes and seascapes, and paintings of Monasteries and monastics from around the world. Most of his time is now spent as an Orthodox Christian priest at St. Lawrence Orthodox Christian Church in Felton, California and painting Byzantine Icons. He is sure that being a priest and painting Byzantine Icons is what he was born to do.

American Impressionist Lori Putnam's paintings are her personal response to rhythm, pattern, shape, and color. Seeing the world this way affords her the freedom to paint all subjects.  Born in 1962, the Nashville native's love of nature began early, growing up on 48 wooded acres, surrounded by a Wildlife Game Preserve. In high school she excelled in both visual and performance arts, but unforeseen circumstances placed her in the workforce at an early age, ending her plans for college. 
 In 1992, Putnam started a successful graphic design company, and sold the company 13 years later in order to pursue fine art. She and her husband Mark also sold their home and belongings to move to Italy. The sole purpose of the move was to provide Putnam a time for self-study and artistic growth.
 Her hard work and sacrifice paid off. Putnam's paintings have received awards in notable exhibitions including Salmagundi Club NYC; Portrait Society of America; Oil Painters of America; American Impressionist Society; Laguna Plein air Painters Association; Forgotten Coast Plein air Invitational, Maui Plein air Invitational, and Plein air Easton.  She has been featured in Art of the West, Plein air Magazine, Fine Art Connoisseur, Western Art Collector, Southwest Art, and American Artist. 
 Today, Putnam travels approximately six months of the year, teaching, painting, and lecturing. As one of the nation's top plein air artists, she shares her methods and philosophy at the Plein air Convention each year. The remaining six months, Putnam paints in her studio in rural Tennessee.

Presented annually, the NAACP Image Awards is recognized as the Nation’s preeminent multi-cultural awards show from an African American point of view. The event celebrates the outstanding achievements and performances of people of color in the arts, as well as those individuals or groups who promote social justice through their creative endeavors.
