Improving Informal Settlements in Urban Africa"を開催し、アフリカにおける都市の強靭性に関して議論しました。 ● Center for Global Development（CGD）は、開発援助によって移民を減らす政策に関する報告書を公開しています。 ● Center for Global トランスペアレンシー・インターナショナルは、2017年汚職認識指数を発表しました。調査対象となった180カ国（+領土）の平均スコアは43（100点満点）であり、2/3以上がスコア50を下回り、汚職防止に関してほぼ前進がなかったと結論づけています。国別最高スコアはニュージーランド（89点）、デンマーク（88点）の一方、最低スコアはシリア（14点）、南スーダン（12点）、ソマリア（9点）で、地域別平均では西欧の66点が最高、サブサハラアフリカ（32点）と東欧・中央アジア（34点）が最低となっています。また、過去6年間の世界におけるジャーナリストの殺害は、10人に9人がスコア45点以下の国で起こったとし、警笛を鳴らしています。 GRIPS開発フォーラムの大野健一は、2月9～15日にエチオピア政策対話第3フェーズの小規模ミッションとして、エチオピアを訪問しました。JICAや現地の政策調査研究センター（PSRC）とともに、両国間産業政策対話のコンポーネントである、金属機械企業のハンドホールディング支援およびエチオピア生産性レポート企画の関連作業を実施しました。また、アルケベ首相府大臣と、エチオピアハンドブックおよびHow
