Colleen’s Corner (CC) is a non-profit in memory of Colleen Ortega who was an educator and teacher coach in Passaic school district for over 20 years. CC will be a physical location within classrooms and other children centric locations. Within the physical locations will be a comfortable place for children to read, write and explore book titles. CC also has digital real-estate (colleenscorner.net), which is catered towards educating parents on the books in CC (physical locations), events in the area, which inspire children to read, and a robust resource to help parents empower their children to read and be read to.
