The Tarheel Trailblazers Mountain Bike Club was founded in 1990 by a handful of local mountain bike enthusiasts. The Club is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization, recognized as tax exempt in October 1997. Over the years the club has grown to over 400, resourceful, energetic and active men and women of all ages. Our volunteers work directly with local land managers, building and assisting in the maintenance of over 110 miles of carefully constructed, sustainable mountain bike trails, in the Metro - Charlotte region. We are the voice of advocacy for mountain bikers and our goal is to build and maintain trails for all mountain bikers to enjoy for generations to come. PENCIL recruits volunteers and supplies for Metro Nashville Public Schools by recruiting, linking and maintaining key relationships with hundreds of partnerships across the city.

Founded in 1942, The Northeastern Ohio Inter-Museum Council serves over 100 institutional members in Cuyahoga and six adjacent counties. Members range from large, internationally renowned museums in major urban centers to metro parks, nature facilities and small local history museums spread across parts of the Western Reserve. The Council provides a group forum for airing common goals and issues; sponsors educational workshops for museum staff and volunteers; hosts general meetings at member museums; and provides e-mail message board broadcasts for member museum activities.

BFA Rescue believes that all dogs should be given a second chance at life. We are a non-profit organisation run by a group of animal loving volunteers who dedicate their time to rescuing abandoned, abused and unwanted dogs facing euthanasia. We visit pounds throughout the West Australian country and metro area and hand a lifeline to those dogs on death row, often with just moments to spare. All dogs are kept in loving foster homes whilst a permanent home is found.

MCIL is a Twin Cities metro-based, non-profit 501.c.3 consumer-directed organization founded in 1981. MCIL is dedicated to the full promotion of the Independent Living (IL) philosophy by supporting individuals with disabilities in their personal efforts to pursue self-directed lives. Being “consumer-directed” means that the majority of decision-making employees (80%) and members of our board of directors (90%) are individuals with disabilities. MCIL’s 32 full-time and 400 part-time employees, 12 Board members, and volunteers are committed to promoting this IL philosophy through innovative projects and direct services that meet the needs of MCIL consumers.
